2018

At the 2018 AGM the standard was blessed by the MWA Bish (Debbie Harvey) and Commissioned. The standard received its first formal parading at the 2018 Veterans parade in Weymouth.

2018 also saw the association celebrate its 10th anniversary. In true Minewarfare style this was a lavish event held onboard HMS Warrior bringing together over 100 members and partners who enjoyed a splendid evening of good food, excellent wine and with Roger Redwin Captain of Minewarfare and Fishery Protection as guest speaker along with Shep Woolley providing the music, it proved to be an entertaining night with some good dit’s. But for most I am sure it was a truly memorable evening for the good company.
