Why we do it…

Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our members say:

“I have been a full time member of the Minewarfare Association for many years now, after leaving the Navy and spending some years in civvy street I came to a point where I really missed the camaraderie, companionship and friends I once had within the branch. Although I’d never tell them, I really missed all the old Seadogs I spent the best part of my life with”

“After joining the MWA I have attended many reunions which have led to other similar activities such as annual Army/Navy rugby tournaments, Black Tot day reunions and other gatherings which of course a good weekend is always assured. If you’ve been wandering lonely as a cloud for a while, miss the banter and runs ashore, then come back into the fold, I can guarantee you will not regret it”.

This is one of the things we do best

Getting together and reminiscing about our days in the branch. What we did together as a team always with a sense of pride whilst still maintaining a sense of humour is what we all remember!

As a teaser, watch this ice breaker and see if you can relate your experiences to the early roots of our branch to built our foundations all those years ago. – Why not discuss at your next Dit Session?
