Mine Warfare Branch Badge

A Royal Navy Temporary Memorandum (RNTM) was released today (13 Feb 2019) announcing the re-introduction of the Mine Warfare Branch Badge.

The branch badge was replaced by the very unpopular Warfare Branch Badge some years ago but after listening to the serving members of the branch who wanted more branch identity to reflect the unique nature of the branch and its members moves were made by Captain MFP and Navy Command to get the badge re-introduced.

The badges will be available from Naval Stores from 28 Feb 2019 and can be worn immediately. Excellent news.
