Mine Warfare Reunion – 2021
Hey Shipmates
Given the past horrible 18 months, it is right that we should be turning to something a lot more enjoyable. We are talking of course about the annual Minewarfare Association reunion.
Last year’s event being cancelled, this gathering will be the ideal opportunity to catch up with old friends and “swing those lamps” once again.
We have managed to secure a suitable room at the “Maritime Club” for the evening of the 25th September 2021.
Due to last year’s cancellation, tickets this time are being heavily subsidised and are being offered at the incredible price of £15.00 for members and their partners, and £20.00 for non-members.
There will be a drink on arrival, a cold buffet, DJ and of course the usual raffle.
This will also be a wonderful opportunity in which to meet your new committee members.
As well as the Maritime Club, there are now two new hotels in Queen Street. A new Premier Inn is at the Hard end and a Travelodge at the other. Don’t miss out get your tickets and book your accommodation now.

It has always been smart casual, unless it was a special anniversary, so I hope it helps.
The MWA ties go down well and there is usually a sprinkling of them around the room. 😉
