MWA 2020 Online AGM

Hello to you all, I hope this finds you all safe and well.

As I mentioned in my last Chairman’s update, the Covid 19 lockdown caused the cancellation of a number of MWA events that were due to take place. Amongst them our Annual General Meeting (AGM). In the background I have been working with the committee, particularly Ronnie the webmaster to look at ways we could achieve the AGM online.   While this will not be as personal as holding an AGM after a friendly social drink the night before as in previous years, it will present an opportunity for those members who do not normally have an opportunity to attend to contribute towards the running of the MWA . I believe we have now achieved an online AGM which will be available to all members to access on the website:

Starting from 0800 on Monday 18 May 2020.

Voting will close at 1200 on Fri 22 May 2020.

From the start date above, there will be a new sub-menu under ‘Communications’, the online AGM will appear there.

NOTE: YOU MUST BE LOGGED IN TO ACCESS THE SUB-MENU.

I hope you will all find the pre amble clear and useful and the voting system user friendly. If you have any queries or need clarification in any way then both Ronnie and myself will be happy to help or guide, just drop an email to the webmaster in the first instance.

Of course with any new process there is quite often glitches and despite it having gone through a QA process I am sure this will be no different. Any feedback on how you found it will be very much appreciated. Please use the comment box at the end of the voting process to give us your thoughts.
